The idea started simple enough.
52 Lamps started as a challenge. Build a lamp once a week. The goal was always to pick up some new tools, discover new materials and learn some new skills. As weeks turned into months the lamp building became more ambitious and 52 Lamps moved from a engaging hobby to a lifelong journey.
Now I toil away in my garage during my spare time discovering new ways to shape light. Each lamp is a passion project of mine and each lamp is unique. I pride myself in the new ways that the light bulb is utilized and get the most enjoyment out of a design that can can be displayed at a multitude of angles with each one altering the perception of light in your space. I do not think I will ever run out of ideas, and there is always new skills to discover and master, so I hope that you follow along to see whats in store.
